Overview
In the Ausbildung model you are an apprentice and an employee at the same time: a few days each week in vocational school, the rest training on the job at a host company, with a monthly training allowance throughout.
On completion you hold a recognised German qualification (IHK/chamber-certified) and are well placed to continue working in Germany under a skilled-worker residence permit.
