Privacy Policy
Draft — 2 July 2026
DRAFT — this document is a working draft pending legal review and is not yet final. It describes the platform's actual data practices, but the legal wording may still change.
This policy explains how Kadin Work Abroad (“we”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use this platform — as a migrant-worker candidate, a P3MI agency, or an employer.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: phone number (for OTP sign-in) and, for P3MI/Admin staff, an email address.
- Candidate profile: full name, gender, date of birth, province & city of residence, occupations of interest, preferred destinations, work experience, and languages.
- Application data: your screening answers plus a snapshot of your profile at submission time.
- Employer data: company name, contact details, and workforce needs on the inquiry form.
- Report data: the content of suspicious-listing reports and any contact details you optionally include.
- Technical data: session cookies for sign-in security and your language preference. We do not use advertising cookies.
2. How we use data
- Creating and managing your account and processing OTP sign-in.
- Forwarding your application to the P3MI agency handling the job you applied to.
- Managing course enrolment at Kadin regional offices.
- Routing employer workforce inquiries through partner P3MI agencies.
- Following up suspicious-listing reports and preventing fraud.
- Meeting legal obligations that apply to Indonesian migrant-worker placement.
3. Legal basis
We process personal data based on your consent (when registering, applying, or submitting a form), the performance of the service relationship between you and the platform, and applicable legal obligations, with reference to Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection.
4. Data sharing
- P3MI agencies: only receive your profile and screening answers for applications you submit to jobs they handle — never for other jobs.
- Kadin admins: access data for verification, moderation, inquiry routing, and complaint handling.
- Overseas employers: do NOT receive candidate personal data from the platform; all interaction is mediated through the P3MI.
- Technical processors: database and authentication infrastructure (Supabase) bound by security obligations.
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
5. Storage & security
Data is stored on cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is role-restricted (candidate, P3MI, admin) and enforced by row-level security in the database. We retain data while your account is active or as required by law; afterwards it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
- Access and update your profile data.
- Request a copy of your personal data.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data (except data we must retain by law).
- Withdraw consent for specific processing.
- Lodge a complaint about data processing.
7. Complaints & contact
For questions, data-rights requests, or privacy complaints, contact us at halo@kadinworkabroad.com or via the Contact page. We aim to respond within 7 working days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the platform with a clear update date.
